- I know nothing about flowers where do I start?
Browse the internet and magazines for pictures that you like, Pinterest is a very good source of wedding flowers. Book a consultation and we will design your wedding together. It’s a good idea to come to the consultation with a flower budget in mind so that we can discuss ideas to suit.
- How do I book?
With a £100 deposit and the balance is due one month before your wedding.
- What payments do you accept?
Bank transfer, cheque, cash, card payments in person or PayPal. Monthly payment plans also accepted.
- My wedding is months away, how do I know you will still be in business?
This is a very sensible question in the days that absolutely anyone can run a "business" on social media. To try and reassure you I would say first of all that I have been in business since 2006, primarily as a florist and more recently as a venue stylist too. The fact that I have a website is proof of our professionalism, I have invested in a good site and maintain the site on a regular basis. Many small short-term companies will just run from Facebook (this costs nothing to set-up or run). We keep our overheads low by working mostly from home. My business is my life and passion. - Why should I choose Flowers by Marion over a High St florist.
Firstly all of our flowers are bought especially for each and every client, we will never use old stock – we simply don’t have any. My favourite advantage is the time I get to devote to each and every client without interruption. Being online I can answer your emails or queries very quickly – you will have a personal florist from the moment of booking right up until your big day. I like to feel we offer a more specialised service - running a shop would just get in the way!
- What happens on the day of my wedding?
We will already have discussed your plans for getting ready and where each flower arrangement needs to be. Bridal flowers can be delivered to you and we will set up your church and/or venue, I aim to complete appx 2 hours before any guests arrive.
- Do you hire any vases or props?
Yes we offer a full range of vases plus chair covers, sashes, postbox and many other wedding related items. We will also consider buying anything in that you may need. All of our hire items carry a refundable damage deposit which is returned to you when everything is back on our premises undamaged.
