How much do Wedding Flowers Cost?

How much do Wedding Flowers cost?

When planning your wedding, budgeting for your wedding flowers is a crucial step to ensure your special day is both beautiful and financially manageable. Understanding how much wedding flowers cost and setting a realistic budget can help you make informed decisions and avoid any last-minute surprises. Flowers play a significant role in creating the ambiance and aesthetic of your wedding, so it’s important to allocate a portion of your budget specifically for floral arrangements.

By considering factors such as the types of flowers, the complexity of arrangements, and the scale of your wedding, you can effectively plan for your floral needs. Whether you’re envisioning elaborate installations or simple yet elegant bouquets, having a clear budget will guide your discussions with your florist and help bring your floral dreams to life.  One of the greatest advantages of hiring a professional florist is the wealth of knowledge and creativity we bring to your wedding planning process. At Flowers by Marion we aim to provide valuable insights into flower choices that fit your vision while respecting your budget. We have the expertise to suggest seasonal flowers that are more cost-effective, design bespoke arrangements that maximize visual impact, and troubleshoot any floral challenges that may arise.

On the assumption that you may not have bought flowers in such a high quantity before let’s look further at how much wedding flowers cost.

Wedding Flower Costs

The following price brackets will give you a good headstart with your budget planning.   The cost of wedding flowers can vary widely due to factors such as location, overheads, and business styles. Florists based in shops, studios, or home environments will each have different pricing structures. For example, a shop-based florist may have higher prices due to retail overheads, while a home-based florist might offer more competitive rates. This variation makes it essential to understand these differences when budgeting for your wedding flowers.

Flowers by Marion is a floral designer working from home and therefore these prices are based on a personalised service with flowers sourced especially for each client, but without the overheads of a retail florist.

“We had our wedding just a few weeks ago on the 16th August at The Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich and had an absolutely wonderful day. We first met Marion earlier this year at a flower show in Bluewater and from the very first moment knew she would do a perfect job. Needless to say Marion and her team went above and beyond on the day and cannot recommend highly enough. Great service. 5 STAR. Guy and Caroline xx (August 2019)”

Yemi & I couldn’t be happier with your stunning bouquets, arch and displays you put together for us on our wedding day.  We have never seen anything so beautiful, you took us out of London (as much as we love it!) and into a fairytale.  While we chatted quite a bit about the arrangements and bouquets we had no idea just how gorgeous our shared vision would turn out.  You are a true master of your trade!

Eltham Parish Church & The Royal Blackheath Golf Club, April 2023

Marion,  You completely executed my vision and I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful display. My arch was amazing and my beautiful bouquets were absolutely the spring florals I had wanted. The flowers lasted for so long after I was able to press some flowers and enjoy them for over a week after our special day.

The tablescapes were so beautiful and just completely jaw dropping. Weeks on from the wedding, I’m still getting compliments.

    Thank you so much!!!
