The Painted Hall - 24th June 2016

Blog Tags:

It’s always a great privilege and every florists dream to dress one of London's historic venues for a wedding. So we were thrilled when approached by Rebecca and her mother to create the flowers for her wedding to be held at The Painted Hall in Greenwich on 24th June this year
We then set on an exciting journey to turn Rebecca's wedding dreams into reality. Several brainstorming meetings, visits to the venue to measure up and explore ways to dress the venue in a classic but beautiful way. We were so lucky Rebecca had chosen a beautiful natural colour palette of creams and ivories, blush pinks and soft greens which would work in synergy with the historic paintings. Her flower choice included roses, peonies, lisianthus, hanging amaranthus and a mix of green foliage.
Rebecca made a beautiful princess bride and I hope we did The Bride, Groom and The Mother of the Bride all proud

NB: The Painted Hall is closed to weddings from September for refurbishing, although other function suites are still available within the building.
