I am so excited to see the release of the next colour trends - even more so when I have guessed the direction the colours are going (smug face emoji!) I had anticipated the move towards a "muted" palette - love that word "muted" - we have been discussing muted themes with brides for a few months so excited to see that it's completely out of the closet and featuring heavily in our choices for this year. Introducing Purist Blue, Neo Mint, Cassis, Cantelope and Mellow Yellow. I am totally fascinated by how many tones and shades of a single colour can be produced from it's solid form. Take these everyday colours of blue, green, purple, orange and yellow - add varying degrees of black or white and there you have it - new "made-up" colours as my partner loves to call them.
I've pinned some beautiful examples of these new colours on our Pinterest Board to inspire you. https://pin.it/kfvhshydbtjz6v Let me let you into a little secret that only few brides know - YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE JUST ONE COLOUR! Long gone are the days of bridesmaids are wearing pink so we have to have pink flowers and white for the bride - just no - demand more from your florists and suppliers. Blend your colours, clash your colours, pop your colours - use colour to reflect you - your personality, your uniqueness. This is how your wedding will stand out from the crowd and be totally individual and memorable. Plus your wedding photos will be fabulous!
So how do you develop your theme - not everyone finds it easy to visualise and for goodness sake now many Neo Mint flowers are there available? Well that's where your consultation comes in - we are here to help with your colour palette and advise on seasonal availability of flowers, the planning is so exciting and we love to go on this journey with our brides and see their scheme evolve. We don't just throw our bouquets together - even if that is the look you want to go for!
Consultations available in our wedding studio 5 days a week incl Saturdays, by appointment only please. The studio is open for browsing Tues-Thurs 10.30 - 2.00pm
