Purple Flowers
Submitted by Marion on Thu, 02/09/2010 - 21:07.I am always being asked if flowers come in purple? Absolutely yes! There are so many choices all year round and suit so many themes. In Autumn look for anemones with black centres, tulips in late winter to spring, gladioli just coming to the end of the season but perfect for simple (tall) tablecentres. For all year round purple - lisianthas are a popular choice - choose the double variety for rose-like petals shown in the picture here. Purple is such a versatile colour - go gothic with purple and red, modern with a single flower type and vintage with a variety of purple & lilac shades dressed with green foliage.
